A boy and his father walked into my shop holding a hovering board. It was clear to me that was something wrong because I saw the kid a little bit sad. I asked the kid what was going on he said, the hovering board was not charging. We are talking about 12 year old kid that was actually trying to fix his own hovering board. The kid explained that he tried to change the battery inside but nothing changed. It was dead.
This is how it works, power up the charger and it should give you a green light and if you test that charger output, you should get 42 voltages there. When inserting the power plug into the hovering board, the charger light should change from green to red which is an indicator that it was charging.
