200 Ohm Resistor Open Circuited in SUNWA 360TRe Meter
As my previous experience of repairing the digital meter without much effort I have took out my old Analog Meter for repair by hoping giving one try if it doesn’t burnt out from inside.
Took out PCB to get into the component side I have to be very careful to get the PCB out because no screw is used to hold the PCB used only plastic Letches.
On visual analyze I did not found any trace and parts damaged by burnout so as per the previous experience i have checked the entire component with magnifier glass.
Testing on Multimeter I found this resistor 200Ω is open circuit .
Now time to test the meter….
Checked 200Ω Resistor on X10 Range it shows perfect 200Ω.
Meter is back to the life!!!! and on the workbench again.

Hi yogesh, but isn’t the x10 supposed to multiply the resistance 10 times the value?,just asking.
Marco tapia,
You are very well Right, Have you seen the meter scale ? i think 20×10=200 is’t it?
Best to always keep all electronic equipment ready and working! Defect equipment only causes problems while trying to fix them.
Albert,
Rather then scrapping the equipment it is better to repair & use them if the equipment is in good condition & economic to repair cost wise.
Good job, Yogesh.
Thank you Sir.
Well! It is a thrilling experience to repair and put back our tools! Good job!
Yes sir it is “Thrilling experience” when we revive the equipment back to the life specially damaged by our own error.
mR Panchal gratye job Sir
Ulises Aguilar Pazzni,
