No Display In Mini LCD Screen Repaired
A wedding photo/video man brought this LCD to my shop and explained that suddenly, there was on sound but no display on the screen.
I powered the screen and I could see a blue stand by light coming on but no display.
I even noticed that the plastic on the stand by light was also missing.
Only four screws out and the inside of the screen was exposed.
The inside was clean and right away I spotted the fault. Here is a test for you. Did you see the fault? Here is a hint; the main fault is the display. Do you see it?
Here is a close up. Yes, the LCD plug was hanging there loose. Sometime we think of the worse when it comes to repair but it is not always like that. For example, this actually repaired the issue and it only took me five minutes.
Remember the other issue with the screen? The stand by light plastic was broken. I found that part loose inside the LCD case.
Four screws holding the button board were off and I could see the fault. Only two super glue drops were used to put the plastic back on.
It took about five seconds for the super glue to dry. I put everything back together and powered up the screen.
Mission accomplished.

Good job!
Hi,
The same happened to me with a HP Projector that still works without any problems.
a client of my partner gave the projector to my partner to send it in for a damage report and to check the fault and the repairer said that it was uneconomical to repair and that the client must claim from the insurance and after that the insurance company did not collect the projector and the client said that my partner can have the projector and my partner said that I can check the projector and I also spotted a loose plug that I unplugged and plugged in again and that solved the problem. The client said that we can still keep the projector because she already claimed at the insurance company and they never collected the old projector
Kind regards
Good job,you’re my inspiration…
