No Sound In LG Speaker Repaired
The complaint of the LG speaker was no sound. Usually when a speaker does not produce sound there can only be two reasons. It is either the speaker wire broken internally (or loose connection) or the speaker itself had an open circuit.
One can check if there is any open circuit in the internal section by measuring the Ohm value of the speaker wires that is located outside without have to open the cover first.
If there is reading means the internal part is intact and the speaker is not open circuit. From the test that I had performed on the wires I found that it was open circuited-see the photo below:
True enough, when I had opened the cover I saw the wire actually were torn-see the photo below:
The speaker was measured good and this means only the broken wire causing the no sound problem.
After joining back the wire I used a sealant to close the gap.
Once the speaker wires was connected back to the Hi-fi system, it worked like charm again.

lovely information for speakers repair thanks Suranga
Good job! Suranga.
Good job thanks for sharing
Something else one can do is to “clamp” the speaker wire inside the box so it will not strain any solder connection or connector if the lead is pulled against coming from the speaker cabinet. Maybe avoid the same thing happening again. Just a thought.
