Symptom: Toshiba laptop some time freeze at booting screen with continuous  beep.

laptop freeze problem repair

I have started inspection of the laptop. I have pressed the power button I got power led light up and laptop screen come up with Toshiba logo and stuck up there with continuous beep this symptom is familiar I have repaired most of the laptops on my workbench for this problem. This is because of some keyboard key is stuck up and it is interferes and misguiding booting process. But which key? Because to find the culprit and for further troubleshooting I must have to complete booting process first.

So with help of the fingers I have taped on the entire key by giving little pressure & somehow I manage to get into the booting process and I got the desktop screen so the keyboard fault is confirmed.

But to fulfilled my curiosity and found which key is problematic; I have opened the WordPad and start to type each letter by pressing each key at a time.

Good job. Replacing internal laptop keyboards is likely cheaper in big countries. Because in my small country (with no doubt 17 million inhabitants) we have surrounded countries that all use their own keyboard keysettings. (AZERTY in Belgium, and also Germany and France use their own special keyset). In the Netherlands we use the international QWERTY United States keyboard setting. But since the United States is on the other site of the Globe we can’t buy them there cheap either.
